Somehow this song feels like it's putting on airs. Like it's trying to distract us from the sad sounding bits by being fast-paced. It's kind of fitting for Tsubakura (since they don't really let a lot of their baggage show on the surface).
Ah, the theme of Tsubakura. Probably one of my absolute favorites, and seeing this remixed in BPoHC was an absolute treat. This theme is probably what made me realize what I love about Jynx's characters and their depth. There's just a pure, unbridled emotion in every character theme that really adds to them and gives you the feeling like they are fully 3-dimensional characters. Because, just like this song, Tsubakura is a simple, stoic, lackadaiscal person who doesn't like getting involved unless there is a large benefit for them, but yet, this song is filled with such a contradictory energy with few low points, and yet, because of how subtle Tsuba is with their quips, it feels like they really do still fit this theme. I adore every bit of it!

I love a lot of songs from EE, but this one is really a gem of its own.
